well ive been working on a lot of hunger games fan art lately and i just love this scene in the movie and in the book.. rue is such a lovely character..

mediums used : STAEDTLER "mars micro" mechanical pencil

I think your skill is very well developed. I know some made comments on her thumb but I see that as foreshortening and being used correctly. Any bigger/longer would seem deformed. You picked a hard angle for Katniss face, and I admire your level of skill to preform it rather real. It's just in that angle its always hard to give a 100% real life look to it without being a bit off (less realistic looking). However, OMG, Rue's face is spot on and her eyes.... Those to me steal the show on this picture. I would just say, fill in the hair a little more on Rue so it looks less like you can see her scalp beneath the pieces though I'm sure you used those lighter tones as highlights/shadows. It doesn't matter though, its beautiful and perfect the way it is. Your very lucky to be this talented. I will continue to follow all your work for sure.

I LOVED this work and I especially like that you were careful and got the mud or blood or whatever is on Katniss's hands as well as that upon close examination, I can actually see that Rue's eyes are watering. The tones are just a touch too dark to see the braid though, and Rue's hair blends a bit at the top with Katniss's jacket. To be honest though, I also think that Katniss's hand on the left (or her right hand) is a bit off, the thumb seems a bit strange. I know that it is tucked in, but I can't quite tell that from a first glance. Overall though, it is splendid and I couldn't imagine anyone else capturing the emotion in this better than you.

amazing and beautiful. beautiful scene from the movie that still makes me cry and just so emotional... of course nothing compares to the scene in the book.

thank you very much!! yeah actually i thought the scene didnt convey enough emotion in the movie for some reason.. i cant even explain why, but it was just so much more emotional in the book, knowing all of katnisses thoughts i guess...
